If you are uploading a new asset today of the type that “Does
not return to Inventory” or editing an existing one you will notice a new field
Set Automatic Reorder notice level on the screen.
This new field is intended to monitor your available levels
for asset types that Do not return to Inventory. When the available number of
units is less than the unit count you have entered, the system will send a Task
notice that the levels are at the Reorder level as indicated. This code runs
every night comparing the number of units you indicate and the actual available
unit count by asset. Once it sends the Task notice, it waits 14 days to check the
level a second time and will issue a second Task if required, or ignore if the unit
count has been replenished. This every two week reminder will continue until
the unit level is replenished or the value lowered or removed from the asset’s
edit screen.
Who gets the Task? As it is unlikely you want the AE to get
this Task notice. We have designated the Program Manager drop down selection, found
on the Company Summary screen, under the first of the Go2Show configuration
screens. It does not matter if this Customer Company actually has a Go2Show site
only that you click the check box Turn on Go2Show; enter a couple of values,
including the Program Manager and save.
We anticipate the system will start running the nightly
check by early next week. You really don’t have to do anything. If there is no
value in the field then the count will always be greater until the available count goes negative. Only then would a Task be sent and that assumes you took the time to place a user in the Program Manager drop down.
As always if you have any questions on how this should be
configured, please contact us for additional help.
