Several of our SA, asked that we provide a “bolder” visual cue for users, calling attention to an Asset in Conflict. Others thought things were fine…just as they were.
So in a spirit of compromise we have introduced an additional visual cue.
We hope this works for everyone regardless of your sitution both situation. We did give it careful consideration.
Tip: In addition to your own Days Before Open and Days After Close settings by Asset type the system has a Return to Warehouse setting that creates what we call a soft conflict. Originally we intended that it provide a cushion for shipping and your own internal handling challenges. Several SA have had us adjust this setting to just a couple of days and in several cases, zero. Feel free to ask to discuss this setting, especially if you have to resolve a lot of Conflicts to meet user demands on an Asset.
