Change an Asset’s Type…NOT!

Say farewell to what you thought was a friend.
As part of Add/Upload an Asset the system used to provide a link in the lower right of the screen called “Change an asset’s asset type.”

While you thought this may be helping you correct an akward mistake, it was in fact slipping a set of corrupt data into your db. This devious behavior on part of an apparently friendly function was responsible for any number of curious and abhorrent actions many of you experienced as far away from here as shipping and packing lists.

Well no more. The function has been removed from the screen.

Tip: Be careful when selecting the Asset Type for an Asset. If wrong immediately delete the Asset record.
