Everything is working now

We currently are working to resolve an issue on the login page.  I will notify you all when this is fixed

I was just notified late last night that our provider's provider has to do some emergency repairs this Sunday to their infrastructure.  We are told to expect interruptions tomorrow from 9:00 am - 1:00 am Monday morning

Calan is back up and the speed is much better now

We are going to try to restart our webserver now to see if we can improve the speed.  The system will go off line in the next few minutes and be offline for about 5 minutes

Printing is back up and working now

We are currently having issues with printing in calan.  We are working on the issue now.  We will blog you when the issue is resolved

This morning I was notified by our provider that while doing routine maintenance yesterday morning that they found a piece of equipment that they will need to replace today.  calan will be offline through out the day while this item is replaced and tested

calan will be offline from Friday night at 10:00pm EST through Saturday 9:30am EST for some monthly maintenance

The system is back up

e-info is currently offline.  There was an issue with some 'routine' maintenance this weekend.  I will message you all when we are back up.  We have been working on the issue since 2:00 am.  We expect to be back up in about 2 hours

We will be shutting down the system this weekend from Saturday 6:00 am until Monday 6:00 am.  If all goes as planned this weekend this should be the last time wee need to take the entire system offline for a while.  We will be bringing a second web server online this weekend.

The site is up and function normally now.  The fixes this weekend took a few hours longer than we thought.

There is currently an issue with the view/edit/select.  We are looking at it now.

We will be preforming maintenance on our system this weekend.  The system will be offline starting at 9:30pm on Friday and will be backup by 6:00 pm on Sunday.  If we finish the upgrade earlier I will message you all.

This weekend an outside security company will be performing a thorough scan of our entire system to check for and security loopholes.  The system may be sluggish at times.  The scan takes 48 hours so there may be slow periods either Saturday or Sunday

We completed half of the changes Microsoft recommended this weekend.  We isolated our entire calan setup, and rebuilt our back up databases server on a newer platform.  We tested the new database server and now that is running as our primary databease server.  If all goes well we will then rebuild our 'old' database server next weekend on the new platform.  Next weekend we will also add another webserver.  We plan to split the load on our webservers between 'regular' e-info users and the G2s 'online shoppers'.

This is probably not a big surprise to anyone, but I did want to confirm to all of you, e-info we be shutting down this weekend for maintenance.  We will go offline at 9:00 pm EST tonight and will be back online by 8:00 am EST Monday

e-info is back up but still running slowly

e-info is continuing to experience   significant speed issues.  We are still working on the issue.  I will notify you all when we think we have this issue under control
