My Project’s reporting has new Filter Control

Now Project Status reporting is on par with File management. One of our users wanted to be able to monitor the change of Status for Projects. We have updated our control selection to provide two new data points for this tracking requirement.

Project Status Change Date: The last date & Time that the status of the Project changed.
Project Status Change User: The User responsible for making the latest change.

The Project Status Change Date is a date control that you can set for a determined number of days backwards (we recommend at least 3 days to allow for weekends). Coupling this date control with the sort of your data in Descending order will allow you to easily view those Projects with the most recent change of Status activity.
The tool has numerous uses for the Accounting Department, finding recently Opened or Closed Projects or the Sales Leader wanting to note changes in the Status of Projects surrounding the sales cycle. Design > Estimating > Presented/Pending > Lost.

I’m sure many of you will find your own uses. I’d love to hear about them.

Note: We do not store a history. Only the latest date of change and User responsible are retained.
