At least that is what everyone has been telling us!
Since early this morning, the timeout clock for logging a user out, has been giving all of your users an additional 10 minutes before “parking them”. That means 30 minutes before you get the re-log in box pop-up.
Parking is our term for capturing all the information on the user’s current screen and holding that in the session. So when the user is asked to re-log in the data that was entered is immediately returned to the page. i.e. all of your hard work typing in a long work order is not lost when you accidentally spend that extra few minutes in the break room; debating who will get voted off Survivor or rather Lee or Mamasox will be our next American Idol.
This makes no change to our security protocols. If a user fails to properly log out of the system or links to another site and then attempts to log back into the system they will still receive the dreaded, please close your browser message.
