9,999,999 crates on the floor

Expanded Bar Code storage added to Inventory

With the current migration to the system's Asset Manager from several of our larger clients, we have taken a preemptive step to increase our inventory's data base.

A new UPGRADE script is now available.

If you are currently using Bar Coding, or will be adding that function to your company's business practice, you will need to update your Scanners software to recognize this expanded data set.

All you need do is contact us when you are ready and we will send you a Zipped File, coded specifically to your site, required for the update. In just minutes you'll have room for 9,999,999 new crates in your warehouse.

FYI: The following outlines the steps you'll need to take after obtaining the new UPGRADE script from us.

1. Download the ZIP folder, to the computer connected to the Scanner’s Cradle
2. Un-Zip the folder, extracting the folder
3. Move the Unzipped folder to <> folder
4. Remove the Scanner from the cradle and power the Scanner to ON
5. Reboot the scanner. Hold down the 7 , 9, and power on/off keys all at the same time until you see the unit reboot.
6. Double Click on the MCL icon displayed on the scanner
7. Click on the button that says ‘System Menu’ when the screen comes back
Note: You need to do this as soon as the screen comes back or it will, quickly, on its own, go into ‘Run Program’ mode.
8.Check to be sure ‘MCL link’ Is running on the computer that the Scanner cradle is attached to
9.Place the Scanner back into the cradle
10.Click the ‘Load Project’ button on the scanner
11.Click the ‘Slave’ button on the scanner
12.On the computer, that is attached to the Scanner cradle, click the icon on the MCL Link screen that says ‘Send’
13.On the computer, that is attached to the Scanner cradle, make sure:
a.The ‘Directory’ section box has the path c:\Mcl3\Projects\sitenamenew
b.The ‘Program’ button is selected.
c.Then hit OK
14.On the bottom of the MCL Link screen you should see the file being transferred percentage complete.
15.When the file is finished being transferred to the Scanner you will see a green check mark in the MCL Link screen and the description field will start with Send.
16.Click the ‘Cancel’ button on the scanner
17.Click the ‘Run Project’ button in the lower right of the scanner
18.Proceed to scan
