Several users from one of our sites, started experiencing issues with the HTML Smart Boxes.
Those are the cool boxes the site uses to enter Work Order information, among other functions. They were getting tiny little boxes on the input screen, without the tool bar edit functions. And nothing but garbage code when they followed a link from their Tasks list for a Work Order or Addendum release.
NOT A GOOD THING!
We were able to identify the culprit as recent uploads of Microsoft Internet Explore 8 (IE 8).
After several hours of mandatory MS frustration we found the cure!
From the Browser Menu Bar select:
Tools > Compatibility View Settings
When you arrive at the dialouge box shown above, enter calancom.com in the, Add this website: text field.
Then click Add to make it a Compatibility view Web Site.
Keep this little trick in mind since it is clear MS antipicated this issue, and it is unlikely they went to all this trouble just for your friends at calan.
