No Damage undergoes update

It appears that for some time we were displaying data inconsistently on reports for an Asset with the damage status of No Damage. On some screens an Asset in the status of No Damage displayed that status by displaying the actual text “No Damage”. While on a couple of screens we indicated the status of No Damage by leaving the field blank. Either was reasonable but the inconsistency was clearly a confusing matter. We have made an effort to standardize this display format across the system.

There should be no actual text, “No Damage” seen on any of the reports. We chose this option as it immediately highlights any Asset with any other Damage Code as it clearly stands out in a column of blank fields.

However the system still needs to allow for you to restore an Asset that had any other damage code back to the status of No Damage. There is no change to this process. When you need to re-set an Asset’s Damage Code you will still find the selection of No Damage in the Drop Down on the Asset’s Case#/ ID screen. Selecting option this will clear the prior Damage Code value and the Asset will display a blank field on reports from that point forward.

Note: If you find the text “No Damage” displaying on a report please advise us.
