Returning a Does not Return. A true Oxymoron.

So you ship out a dozen boxes of squeezy balls and two return from the show.
Now what?
In the past you gave them to your dog or neighborhood kids, because it was just too hard to deal with.
Now the system now has the right answer. Simply access the returning Asset in View/Edit/Select and go to the Edit screen. There you will find an upgrade to replenish.

Here is all you need do:
Replenish: Enter the number of Units that have returned.
Use the Drop Down to select new or “Return”
Project: Select the project that is returning the units back into inventory
Click Replenish: The units are returned & the returning Project is relieved on the units and all data base entries and reports update to the new count and the correct actual consumption of units. When you use the drop down to select a Project it will also display the total number of units included in the Project in the original order.
Pretty nifty. Everyone is happy. Except of course for that cute little fellow you call Fido.
Tip: Remember you can only access the Edit screen for an asset when you are NOT in the context of a Project. If you find yourself there just click Return to Warehouse. You’ll stay on your asset but immediately drop out of the Project.
