admin@ Gets Name Change

An Alert Notification was sent on this Topic

Notification was sent on Sept 1, 2009. This just makes for a handy history on the topic

Recent additions of new members to our community have resulted in a change to our auto generated email's alias naming convention.

In 2003 when we launched we elected to have these emails sent from < admin@yoursite.calancom.com >.

Today many corporate firewalls no longer accept this naming convention. As a result we have begun a migration to the current standard of < no-reply@yoursite.calancom.com >.
Depending on your own firewall settings with regard to calancom as a trusted site this may or may not affect your users’ receipt of email notifications.

For those sites where you are masking our URL, the impact of this change is still likely even though you do not have the < .calancom.com > appended to your emails.

Please advise your users to check their JUNK folders if they feel they are not receiving the correct notifications.

If they find that they are indeed blocking <>, they need only move the email to their INBOX, click on SAFE SENDERS on their tool bar and ADD RECIPIENT to their safe sender list.
